Styled Fall Photo Shoot

Just got these photos in my inbox and I had to share them. Wow! I am eternally grateful for the talented Cali Frankovic for spending her 'day off' shooting this styled shoot and taking over 1500 photos. These are just the 'sneak peaks'!

I decided to finish out the season with my first ever styled photo shoot. Despite being exhausted from the season, I was excited to be creative and celebrate the end of the season with all my vendor buddies. I had this vision of a gorgeous farm table set up in the middle of an aspen grove. And so that was what we created in my back yard. Thankfully my yard consists of an aspen grove! It was so fun to be creative together! I even stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to model one of the wedding dresses. It was a big leap of faith for me but I am so glad I did it. Caroline and Sophie did my hair and make up, making me look and feel amazing and giving me confidence to step in front of the camera.

I loved creating a color palette and theme - romantic, woodsy and fall were the three main features. I wanted to incorporate fall colors but I wanted to do something a little different. I worked with Brea from The Lettery Co. to design an invitation and menu. I had the fortune of being Brea's wedding planner last fall and so it was fun to collaborate together as colleagues. Brea was a delight to work with - I simply sent her my color board and she came up with a couple of options for me to look at. Next, I worked with Holly from Hop Rabbit Flowers to design the flowers and table scape. I knew I wanted to add a couple of unique details, one being hand tied flatware with ribbon. After searching on Etsy, I found Nettle and Silk - I was drawn to their hand dyed silk ribbons and gorgeous fall colors. I bought a variety of colors loving the names...merlot, heather, night, crimson, cognac..so beautiful!

And then it was time to create some magic. I spent the day before the shoot in my kitchen whipping up some plant based recipes (thanks Deliciously Ella and Oh She Glows!) and experimenting with all sorts of fun ingredients. Creating grazing boards might be my new favorite activity! The morning of the shoot we woke up to a gorgeous blue bird day but wind gusts of 20 mph! Despite the wind, we decided to continue with the shoot as planned and I am so glad we did. Although it was hard to keep everything on the table (and not flying through the air), the sun shining through the gorgeous fall aspens was amazing. After Cali had taken way too many photos (thank you Cali!) we finished the day by all sitting down to enjoy some delicious food, sip some wine and reminisce about the season.

Thank you to my wonderful SoulSpark team and my amazing team of vendors. It's a pleasure to work with you to create magic!
